Foodfilled

FoodFilled is a Melbourne-based, youth-led food rescue charity dedicated to combating food wastage and alleviating hunger. Since its inception in 2018, FoodFilled has grown into a dynamic organization that rescues over 11,000 kilograms of surplus food each month, providing more than 25,000 meals to individuals in need. By partnering with local retailers, FoodFilled collects excess or unsold edible food and delivers it directly to charities supporting vulnerable populations, including youth in crisis, asylum seekers, and the elderly. Their mission is to create a sustainable circular economy that minimizes waste and maximizes community impact, ensuring that no edible food is discarded while addressing food insecurity across Melbourne.
