Green Collect

Green Collect is a Melbourne-based social enterprise dedicated to creating a world without waste by pioneering circular economy practices. Established in 2005 by co-founders Sally Quinn and Darren Andrews, Green Collect specializes in transforming hard-to-recycle office and household items—such as electronics, stationery, and furniture—into valuable resources, diverting over 10 million items from landfill with a 93% resource recovery rate. Beyond environmental impact, Green Collect provides meaningful employment and training opportunities for individuals facing barriers to work, including refugees and those experiencing homelessness. Their vision intertwines environmental sustainability with social inclusion, operating retail stores in Braybrook and Yarraville that offer upcycled and ethical products, enabling communities to actively participate in a sustainable future.
